"Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me.
And He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness' Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Cor 12:8-10
"I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." -Phil 4:12-13
The Lord is always carrying you. :) Of course, we all know this in our heads. It's times of trial when we realize it in our hearts and thus can better grow our relationship with Him. I'm praying with you!
Right!
ReplyDeleteIt is much easier said than done- but God is with you right now (footprints and all that...)
Thank you and you're right, too. I wish we didn't need to be carried again. I'll write more when I'm ready.
ReplyDelete(Although if you read LMLD, I wrote something tonight on yesterday's post.)
